Dog zones and bathing possibilities

Baden near Vienna is perfect for a vacation with your four-legged friend. Baden is located in the middle of the Biosphärenpark Wienerwald.

Dog zone Helenental
The HuZo in the Helenental near Baden runs about 1.5 km along the Schwechat. It is not fenced in, but has a natural fence due to the Schwechat on one side and a rock wall on the other. A path runs through the HuZo, on which the mistress and master can take a nice walk, while the four-legged friend can sniff or swim to the right and left. A meadow is unfortunately not available, but the Schwechat provides a lot of swimming fun.

This is a natural meadow of about 900 m² with a slight incline. An existing shelter was left in place and now offers visitors protection from the weather. The area was enclosed with a game fence. Two doors with self-closing devices allow safe exit from the area in case of arrival of a dog that seems incompatible with one's own. Two park benches invite moreover to the stay.
A dog waste bag dispenser and two waste bins at the main entrance facilitate the necessary disposal of dog waste.
Two old playground equipment nearby were removed, since the place was hardly used as a playground due to the lack of space. The drinking fountain remains and continues to serve as a water source for people and animals. 

Bathing possibility
Schwechat you walk with your dog behind in Helental. Along the Schwechat the four-legged friend always has the opportunity to jump into cool water on hot days and cool down.
