Grand Opening of the La Gacilly-Baden Photo Festival 2025

On Friday, June 13th 2025, at 7 p.m., the La Gacilly-Baden Photo Festival 2025 will be officially inaugurated at the Stadttheater Baden.
The festival directorate, led by Lois Lammerhuber, is honored to welcome esteemed guests and speakers, including Ian Biggs, Ambassador of Australia; Matthieu Peyraud, Ambassador of France; Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Governor of Lower Austria; and Carmen Jeitler-Cincelli, Mayor of Baden & Member of the National Council.
The festival’s exhibiting photographers will be present as well.
Visitors can look forward to a captivating and immersive visualization of a truly unique musical experience.
Dedicated to this year’s theme, AUSTRALIA & THE NEW WORLD, the opening ceremony will feature a special musical program. Large-scale projections of festival photographs will accompany Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, "From the New World." The Beethoven Frühling Orchestra, conducted by Dorothy Khadem-Missagh, will bring this masterpiece to life.
