How fortunate for a city to have hosted the “darling of the gods” and to be musically immortalized through the composition of Ave Verum!
As we stroll through Baden, memories come to life: the daily rhythm of the city with its spa and gastronomy, Mozart’s social connections, and his eventful marriage with Constanze. This journey takes us through longing, jealousy, concerns for Constanze’s health, financial struggles, and moments of pure joy in the Gebürgskeller and the casino.
The grand finale awaits at the “King of Instruments” – the magnificent Baroque organ of St. Stephen’s Church, a silent witness to Mozart’s time in Baden.
